Poor kitty

There's a dead cat on the side of the road in Homewood. It's been there for a couple of weeks now, the poor thing. It never had a chance being there on the down side of the hill. Nowhere to run or hide with cars whizzing past at 50+ mph.

And with the weird weather we've had lately, it hasn't been able to decompose. Sorry that's gross, but it's true.

I finally remembered to call Streets & Sanitation today - I've been meaning to do that for days now. They're going to pick it up soon.

Strange how we will ignore dead opossums, squirrels, birds, raccoons, etc. But if there's a dog or cat... it's the pet factor.
