Camping

Pete took Sarah camping at Oak Mountain this past Saturday - her very first camping trip. I was a little worried that she might not be able to sleep in a strange place, but it was for not. She's just like her daddy - she can sleep anywhere.

Here's what they did:

- Got a fire going, cooked and ate some salmon Pete prepared before they left home
- Walked around looking for bugs and other creatures
- Read a lot of stories
- Sarah sacked out
- Went swimming the next morning
- Played with a "neighbor's" golden retreiver
- Saw a 4-foot long gray rat snake
- Cooked eggs (breakfast) & hotdogs (lunch)
- Got ice cream sandwiches after a long walk
- Came home

Pete said they both had a great time and can't wait until Cloosty is old enough to join them on the next trip. :)
