Catch Up
So it's been a while since I last posted, but I've either been busy or just plain ole lazy... okay, more lazy than busy.
Anyway, I'm here to catch up a bit with Sarah's goings-on.
1. She started swimming lessons with Lauren at the YMCA and LOVES it. She's very proud that she can jump into the pool while plugging her nose and not gulping a gallon of water. She still needs a little work with the kicking and arms strokes and she's eager to learn.
2. I got her some new school clothes this weekend and she held a fashion show for us. She "made a list" for me, telling me that she wanted a white drees, a blue dress, a brown dress, etc. with shoes to match each one. I got her at least 5 new dresses and 2 pairs of shoes... she was very happy (even if I couldn't find a white dress). I'll post this picture later, but when she put on one of the dresses with socks, shoes and sunglasses to match, she struck a pose and asked me, "Am I fashionable, Mommy?" I tell ya, she sure was. What am I going to do with this kid?
3. We went to Mentone for our vacation and she had a great time. She got to "swim" in the river with Daddy, fed the little fishes at the dam, spent lots of time with Honey & Grandad and we all went shopping at McKay's in Chattanooga (where my brother works). McKays is this HUGE used book/music/movie/video game warehouse. It's amazing. Sarah got some books and a video game.
That's all I can think of right now. Oh, we did get professional pictures made. I'll have to scan them in, yadda yadda. ;)
