Her own interpretation

Last year Pete's minions gave him a Grinch doll that sings the Grinch song. It "dances," too. It's a very annoying object with no way to adjust the volume, to my dismay. He brought it home not too long ago and gave it to Sarah. Needless to say that she and the Rooster LOVE this blasted thing. Yes, Cloosty knows how to operate it. He likes to press its hand over and over just to hear the intro (the loudest part, btw - oy!).

So last night they were playing with it, Sarah singing along - or at least trying to. Now let me explain, she's been trying to memorize the words since Pete brought it home some months ago and has done a pretty good job. However, for the parts she can't quite understand (it's a little garbled) she has supplied her own interpretation of the lyrics.

Here are the original lyrics:
