When I was your age...
Lately Sarah has been talking about things that Pete and I (might) have done when we were little. She starts out by saying, "When I was your age, Mommy..." So, she's a little backwards on that, but only because that is the only way she's ever heard that. I'm pretty sure that Ms. Georgia has been telling her "When I was your age I..." so that's how Sarah thinks it should be said. She'll say things like, "Mommy, when I was your age you were little like me." Sometimes she garbles other words in there as if she's trying to think of something to say, but that' all right.

Anyway.... last night we were eating dinner when Sarah looked at Pete and said, "Daddy, when I was your age you pooped in your pants!" and then giggled like a fiend. We both had to laugh at that. Pete replied, "Yep, when I was a baby." "Yeah, when you were a baby you pooped in your pants. I'm a big girl, not a baby. I go poop in the potty!" and laughed some more. What a goober. ;)
