We had a fun and busy weekend. Saturday we went to the art show at Linn Park downtown. We ran into Kim, Brian & a sleeping Baby Eliot. We looked at lots and lots of art; and I saw lots and lots of art that I wanted, but Daddy said "no." Heh. When we got home, Sarah played in the sprinkler.

Saturday night the three of us went to the Outreach Abroad fundraiser. Aunt Leslie is a participant and just came back from Peru not too long ago. She really loves the experience and she has excellent stories to tell! She and Uncle Burt will be going back to Belize next month. Sarah enjoyed herself tremedously at the fundraiser. She got to meet several new people and charmed them all with her smile. She really knows how to work a room! We were joined by Grandpa and his new friend, Denise. She is very nice.

Sunday Sarah immediately wanted to play outside. While Daddy pulled up even more weeds, she and I raced down the driveway - again and again and again. She won every time! She is a fast runner. ;) Later, Daddy went to help Phillip hang some sheet rock, so Sarah and I went shopping. Sarah got a new backpack, a swim suit (going to the beach!), and some clothes.

She sat on the potty numerous times during the weekend, but no success. I think she just wanted a cookie. ;)
